Tod’s is looking ahead to the summer months with their latest collab, linking up with Moncler and Palm Angels – in a campaign featuring none other than the forever iconic Naomi Campbell.
Entitled Tod’s x 8 Moncler Palm Angels, the collab is the latest in the long-term project known as Tod’s-FACTORY. Developed as a creative laboratory where established and emerging designers are invited to interpret Tod’s DNA, the partnerships so far have included tie-ups with the likes of Alber Elbaz and Alessandro Dell’Acqua.
The collection, which launched today, produces a blend of Italian craftsmanship with American sports. Palm Angel’s creative playfulness transforms two timeless Tod’s icons for Moncler, the Gommino and the W.G., two must-haves for the coming months. In the same spirit, elements of mountain sportswear are reworked for the sophisticated W.G., a new version of the iconic Winter Gommino, which now has the details of a snow boot and the volume of a mountaineering boot.
“Tod’s iconic design was my starting point when I began this project. I have great admiration for what the brand stands for: the values it expresses are linked to our culture of beauty, which is what distinguishes us internationally and that is recognised by everyone,” said Palm Angels creative director, Francesco Ragazzi.
