Rhythm Section International’s new release is the perfect weekend melody

With fans including Gilles Peterson and Bradley Zero, Australian quintet 30/70's new track is a must-have on your music radar.

An instant classic, Tempted is all at once seductive and outspoken, released today by South East London’s Rhythm Section International, the tune is a feel-good jazzy beat that features powerful vocals, sax riffs and percussion work held down by exquisite chords.

The Melbourne based quartet, 30/70, have kept to their familiar neo-soul harmonies and spiritual jazz style in Tempted, a trait that previous fans will be delighted to spot and hear throughout the track.

Tempted is an alluring taster for what’s to come from their forthcoming and highly anticipated album Fluid Motion, set to be released in September. From their last record Elevate released in 2017, 30/70 gained fans such as renowned DJ Gilles Peterson, Tom Ravenscroft and DJ, tastemaker and founder of Rhythm Section, Bradley Zero. Although originating from Australia, 30/20 has successfully opened up the ears of London to embrace the sounds of Melbourne, Gilles Peterson recently featured three of the band’s tracks in his recent Sunny Side Up compilation.
