Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are expecting their first child!
Rihanna is pregnant!
The makeup mogul and rapper A$AP Rocky confirmed they were expecting their first child after being photographed out in New York City over the weekend. Rihanna debuted her baby bump while wearing a long, pink Chanel coat, unbuttoned at the bottom to reveal her growing stomach, which was adorned by a gold body chain.
The photographs, which were captured in Rocky’s hometown of Harlem, saw him kiss Rihanna on her forehead as they enjoyed a wintry stroll.
This comes after months of speculation that Rihanna — one of the best-selling musical artists of all time — was expecting. Rumours reached fever pitch in November after the entrepreneur was photographed accepting the National Hero award in her native Barbados. At the time, she denied that she was pregnant.
Motherhood was always part of her life plan, though. Back in March of 2020, the Diamonds singer told British Vogue that she was considering starting a family, telling the publication that she’d been “realising life is really short.”
“I know I will want to live differently,” she continued, detailing that she sees herself with “three or four” children within the next decade.
Back in May of this year, in an interview with GQ, the ‘Sundress’ rapper said that Rihanna was the “love of my life”. His life, he said, was “so much better. So much better when you got ‘the One.’ She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know. She’s the One.”
The long-time friends confirmed that they were dating in November of 2020, following Rihanna’s split from her boyfriend of three years, Hassan Jameel.
