Having shown her Fenty x PUMA Spring/Summer 2018 line to great critical acclaim, the polymathic icon is back with her own lingerie collection. Dropping Savage x Fenty back in May, Rihanna is set to debut the collection on 12th September 2018, the last (but certainly not least) day of New York Fashion Week. The 7.30pm time slot will mark the show as the unofficial closer of the season, following on from Marc Jacobs’ 6pm show.
Due to be presented as an “immersive experience” in Brooklyn, the show will follow a see-now, buy-now format with immediate online release. The collection will be made up of a new season of lingerie and intimate accessories, after the huge success of the online pieces, many of which have sold out. Already modelled by the likes of Slick Woods, Leomie Anderson and Jazzelle Zanaughtti (AKA @uglyworldwide), we’re sure they’ll be some more amazing body-positive feminist icons at the show next month.
Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty will make it’s debut at New York Fashion Week on 12th September 2018 at 7.30pm.
