This DIY-themed editorial sees discarded tents and plastic swimming pools refashioned into future-facing designs.

Stylist and designer Kim Rosario collaborates with photographer Gabriella Achadinha for a DIY-themed shoot at Berlin’s Treptower Park in Berlin. Employing an organic approach to sourcing materials and fabrics, old inflatable pools and discarded tents and duvets become reborn into futuristic shapes and silhouettes, while elements from magazines of the ‘70s and ‘80s remind us of the intrinsic link between clothing and memory. Bringing to mind images of grandmother’s knitted sweater, four-person tents during family camping trips and backyard pool lilos in the midsummer heat, this is one to get you nostalgic.
