Sephora announces it will finally be returning to the UK

The beauty blockbuster is landing this month, and we can't wait.

Here we are, finally announcing the return of Sephora. True enthusiasts may remember the company has been in the UK before but closed after five years. This time, it promises to be bigger, as they plan to replace FeelUnique and open stores across the country.

For years, fans of all things beauty have been pining for a taste of what luxury goodness is on offer overseas. The selection is notorious for its mixture of mainstream and indie brands; and breaks into the UK market promising over 1400 altogether, including Sephora’s own collection which has never been available to shoppers in the country before now. They tease customers with the likes of Tarte Cosmetics, ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starr, Makeup by Mario and ILIA Beauty which will be exclusively available at Sephora only.

Although the brands will be online only from the 17th of October, it has been announced that a pop-up will take place at One Marylebone on the 20th of October, with tickets available tomorrow. Products will not be available to buy, and the pop-up will be more like an event to celebrate their return and take a glimpse into the exciting plans for the physical stores. The first flagship is set to be opening in Spring 2023 and will be located in London, before others roll out nationwide.

The wait is short and from the 17th of October, FeelUnique will be officially replaced with Sephora.co.uk, and all rewards from the previous company promise to be transferable. Synonymous with its success in the US, the UK takeover will be headed by its Europe division, looking to take local trends and brands into consideration.

The international experts in beauty and wellbeing return just in time for shoppers to get their hands on the perfect Halloween look or add their favourite luxury brand to the Christmas list. So get ready and get online, you only have 7 days to wait for Sephora’s big opening.
