Shrinking Violet

In 2020, we learned the true Joy of Missing Out. While there’s no overemphasising just how exhausting last year way, many of us were forced to reconsider our relationship to work, finally giving ourselves a break from the capitalist machine.

With all the extra hours on our hands, we were able to reflect and reconnect with the world around us, without the unnecessary noise of a cluttered social life. “Shrinking Violet”, a new editorial from photographer  Jade Danielle Smith and stylist Nathan Henry, honours this new sense of perspective gained from solitude – check it out below.
