Sun drenched analogue photography from Canada

Kel Lovett is exploring those lazy hazy summer days, the ones almost past.

The sun may be fading behind the London clouds of reality, but that doesn’t mean those days are forgotten. Reminiscing on summer, Lovett’s grainy analogue shots capture the nostalgic nature that autumn brings. Canada based, the shots are captivatingly soft, from multiple-exposure portraits on 35 and 50mm to lazy rays on mountains, we’re swept up into the intimate moments of Kel Lovett’s world.

Focusing on the candid, Lovett’s work seems to encapsulate those in between moments: the moon in its rise, the sun as it sets, and that dreamy dusky light that seems to sweep away all cares and worries for a few flawless minutes.
