Thanks to the Glastonbury resale, you can still secure your spot at Worthy Farm – here’s how

It’s not too late to try your luck for this year’s festival…

With Glastonbury returning to Worthy Farm this June, prospective festival goers are camping out in front of their computer screens to grab themselves a ticket once again thanks to the official resale.

With the majority of tickets being snatched in November by eager Glasto fans, a limited number will be released in phases this week, and the first drop already came and went on Thursday. But not all hope is lost, and there are still a few ways you can weasel yourself a spot by the main stage this summer and catch the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Elton John and Loyle Carner. Here, HUNGER gives you the lowdown on how to bag yourself a ticket for the festival of the year…

Keep your registration number in a safe place

To get a ticket you must have a registration number, which was secured via the resale on Monday 17th of April. If already registered, including in November’s sale or previous years, you can use that registration number. Just remember to keep it on hand when registering!

If you missed yesterday’s resale, there is still hope…

The first resale was on Thursday 20th of April, but get ready for the next one this Sunday 23rd of April at 9 am. The remaining tickets will go on sale, but travel will not be included, and additional accommodation options will be available on Thursday 27th of April at 12pm.

Costs and payments

Tickets are £335 plus a £5 booking fee, with £9.75 postage per order. Unlike the original sale, you cannot pay a deposit this time and must pay the full price when asked. During the booking process, you do not need payment details, but you have a 24-hour period to pay for your ticket before the order is cancelled.

Or, just try your luck Willy Wonka style…

Chocolate company Tony’s Chocolonely has put five pairs of Glasto tickets inside their limited-edition chocolate bars as part of a giveaway. If you buy a bar online or in-store between the 17th of April and the 16th of June you can be in with a chance of winning free weekend tickets, and the prize-winning chocolates will contain a QR code found on the back with details on how to claim. Each of the five winners will receive two general admissions for themselves and one named guest. We will be crossing our fingers for you – golden ticket style!
