Photographer, model and designer Betsy Johnson celebrates the club kids of the 80 and 90s for a special collaboration with The Ragged Priest. The collection and campaign (below) Betsy explains is “largely inspired by personal experiences with feeling abandoned as a generation therefore reliving the new and revived club kid reality as a form of escapism and survival.” Originally inspired by Joan River’s 1993 interview with the original club kids, she presents an underground world which, alike the original era, is misunderstood, dark and provoking.
