The instagram account exposing art world plagiarism

Plagiarism is a bad look in 2018.

Digital detectives like the infamous @Diet_Prada Instagram account have started calling out copycatting across creative industries, exposing fraudsters and often major or commercial brands who are guilty of ripping off independent designers or trendsetting labels.

Of course, this practice has been rife for decades, with major corps safe in the knowledge that their high-powered legal teams can mitigate any charges against them and ensure they get off entirely or – at worst – simply pay some measly form of compensation.
