The only tracks you need to hear right now

Want to cleanse your life of drama? Glean some motivation from Banoffee’s latest track “Tennis Fan” and cut out fair-weather friends.

This Monday, we’ve got a playlist of fresh releases for your listening pleasure, featuring new drops like Obongjayar’s frenetically-produced “God’s Own Children”, “Black Qualls” from an all-star trio of Thundercat, Steve Lacy and Steve Arrington, and “(Don’t Let The Dragon) Draag On,” the welcome return from ultimate indie soft boy King Krule.

Our pick of the week comes from Australian producer Banoffee, who’s linked up with Empress Of for “Tennis Fan”. A point blank reject of game-playing, drama and fickle friends, it’s an embodiment of the energy we want to reign throughout 2020.

Also on the menu are stellar albums aplenty. Amongst them are 070 Shake’s impressive debut Modus Vivendi; R.Y.C, Mura Masa’s first album in three years; and Circles, the posthumous Mac Miller album showcasing the late artist’s creative peak.
