Thunder Jackson – Led Astray

Today, playing exclusively on VERO, Oklahoma-born Thunder Jackson debuts the glitter-drenched video for latest single “Led Astray”.

On the track, a heart-wrenching falsetto wraps around a smooth pop groove, with lyrics telling a tale of misspent youth. The video evokes a similar hedonism, seeing Thunder surrounded by party-goers, smoking a cigarette on a neon cube and dancing in golden shoes. With a maximalist palette of pink and glitter, the visuals draw on the more-is-more aesthetics of the ‘80s. The video was directed by Thunder’s key creative collaborator, Pete Lawrie Winfield. The two met whilst sharing a taxi in LA and, off the back of that chance encounter, launched an enriching musical partnership.
