UGG unveils brand new collection perfect for wet weather

Stomping in the rain just got a whole lot more comfortable with UGG’s new, whatever-the-weather collection, featuring Parris Goebel.

On rainy days, most of us resist the infantile urge to run outside and dash through puddles without caring that our shoes will get soaked. Or rather, most of us worry about what we might look like.

Fortunately, UGG’s latest rain collection for SS2022 can wash those worries away. Inspired by the Southern-California brand’s most-cherished designs, such as the ‘Classic Boot’ and the ‘Treadlight’, the latest range of both wet and dry weather designs are the ideal pieces of footwear for the British summer time.

Fusing fashion, function and feel, UGG has collaborated with renowned choreographer Parris Goebel to produce a range of styles that are wet weather ready, but without the fashion faux pas of Wellingtons. Working with the likes of Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande, Goebel shows in the collection’s accompanying video the full extent of the designs’ functionality and durability.

Each design, the ‘Drizlita’, ‘Drizlita Clear’, and ‘Tasman X’, are built to last in unpredictable weather. All maintain the signature comfort and foot-friendly feel you get when wearing UGG’s around the house, but each provides its own take on rain couture.

The ‘Drizlita’ is built with the sheepskin lining that’s characteristic of the brand. The ‘Drizlita Clear’ has been designed for you to shake up the boot’s style depending on your mood with a range of removable rainboot socks. And the ‘Tasman X’ has the more high-fashion meets streetwear approach, with its bold and distinct body.
