VERO Presents: Arlo Parks Live Session

Uncertainty, angst and heartbreak are the subject matter of 19-year-old singer, songwriter and poet Arlo Parks. Like the title of her first EP, “Super Sad Generation”, Arlo’s honest brand of bedroom pop vocalises the concerns of a peer group trying to make their way in the modern world. Frank about sexuality, drug use and mental health, she’s been labelled a Gen Z Lily Allen but we think she’s someone special all on her own – so much so that we sat down with her to talk musical influences and Instagram fakery for our Future Issue.
