Watch: Hunter Schafer directs and stars in Girl In Red’s latest video

'Euphoria' star Hunter Schafer has teamed up with Girl In Red for her moody new visual.

Now, we all know Hunter Schafer for her incredible acting prowess, but she’s now showing us what she can do behind the camera. The 23-year-old actress, model and writer/producer directs a gloomy cityscape for Girl In Red, real name Marie Ulven, to explore. The video is for the track ‘hornylovesickmess’ which appeared on the Norweigan artists 2021 album ‘If I could Make It Go Quiet’. Not restricting herself to one form of artistic expression, Schafer also makes a short but sweet appearance in the video herself.

After revealing some behind-the-scenes flicks last week, fans had been clamouring for this collaboration and to see what Schafer had in store in the director’s chair. The piano-laden, sombre, stand-out album cut is enhanced even further by the grainy visuals as Ulven reflects on her newfound notoriety. “Down at Times Square in the rain, there’s a billboard with my face, it’s so weird how things have changed.”

Schafer has become one of the world’s most iconic and adored stars in recent times due to her show-stealing performance as Jules in HBO’s Euphoria. Not only that but she’s also become fashion’s latest ‘it girl’, recently starring in Prada’s Symbole Bag campaign. After laying eyes on this stunning video, the sky’s the limit for Schafer and her talents only seem to be multiplying. Whatever’s next for Schafer, we can’t wait to see.

As for Ulven, she was recently awarded a Spellemann Award, often referred to as a Norwegian Grammy. None other than Billie Eilish presented her with the award in front of a packed-out crowd at Coachella. Ulven had also set the record for Spellemann nominations receiving no less than 7.
