What to wear

There aren’t too many silhouettes out there that are as iconic as Timberland’s classic six-inch boot. And in honour of the shoe’s 50th anniversary, the workwear brand has enlisted six designers to reimagine its design through their personal creative lenses. Dubbed ‘Future73,’ the design collective includes CLOT’s Edison Chen, A-COLD-WALL*’s Samuel Ross and Daniel Raeburn of RAEBURN, amongst other leading names in the fashion world. The capsule collection also includes complementary apparel pieces and will drop between March and October 2023.

What to see

From March 9th – May 6th, 51 members of the UKBFTOG (UK Black Female Photographers) community will be presenting a new exhibition at the FUJIFILM House Of Photography. Entitled Living The Dream, the event will be much more than just an exhibition, with workshops for UK Black Female Photographers and panel talks also taking place. Living The Dream explores how a community of Black women are living their ancestor’s dreams, inspiring others to dream big for themselves and celebrating womanhood through photography. 

What to listen to

Global hitmaker Rema recently returned with double-sided single ‘Holiday’ and ‘Reason You’ – his first output since the release of his debut album, Raves&Roses. The tracks showcase a new direction for the Nigerian star. On the up-tempo cut ‘Holiday,’ the artist takes a moment to self-reflect on his journey through the industry and the trials and tribulations that come alongside it. On the other hand, we have ‘Reason You,’ a soothing track where Rema’s vocals take centre stage as he swoons over a love interest. It’s been just over a year since Rema’s debut album, and this welcome two-pack is a gentle reminder that the star isn’t taking his foot off the pedal just yet.
