The legendary Abbey Road Studios have announced their second annual Abbey Road Studios Music Photography Awards (MPA’s), aiming to celebrate talent across the world in the field of music photography. The MPA’s 2023 will recognise the previous year’s most memorable photos, the unsung music moments and the photographers who captured them. Winners will be unveiled at an official ceremony on September 21st at the iconic studios. Photographers can enter six open categories: Undiscovered Photographer of the Year, Music Moment of the Year, Live Music, In The Studio, Underground Scenes and Hip Hop 50. There will also be four invited category awards with nominees and winners chosen by a judging panel that includes renowned British photographer Rankin, BRIT award-winning singer-songwriter Cat Burns, and more. Calling all fashion photography lovers! The Noordbrabants Museum in the Netherlands invites you to come down and look at some of the most iconic images by leading photographers in the industry. The likes of Amy Arbus, Richard Avedon, Helen Levitt, Vivian Maier, and Cindy Sherman will have their work showcased in the viewing, which will scale twelve themes of high fashion and street style from the 1930s to the present day.
