Even in our highly digitised modern era, Polaroids still hold a special place in our hearts. There’s nothing quite like seeing all of your most incredible (and embarrassing) memories slowly being birthed by a Polaroid camera – and it’s something we’ll never tire of. In celebration of that, Polaroid recently launched their ‘Real Life’ campaign, partnering with 15 global photographers to capture the world through the unique medium of Polaroid film. The campaign spotlights the imperfections of life and embraces the unique qualities that come from shooting on Polaroid film. The artist’s images are all captured within Polaroid’s distinctive white frame and you can learn more about their images and the campaign here.

Sure, Summer might all be about the blockbuster, but there’s nothing more fulfilling than finding that next indie film to fall in love with – and Soundproof might just be it. The film drew widespread critical acclaim on the independent film circuit and stars Georgina Rich (Black Mirror), Jonny Phillips (Titanic) and Kayla Meikle (Small Axe). The debut feature film of writer-director duo Margaret Rogerson and Mark Hayman is a crime drama with the resilience of women at its core. “Marooned in an isolated wilderness and pursued by a dangerous criminal, Jo must face her fears, protect her children and take control of her fate,” reads the synopsis. Soundproof will be available to rent or buy on Prime Video in the UK and US, as well as Google Play and Apple TV+ on June 30th.

Following on from his impressive debut EP Bonnie Hill, Dublin lyricist Archy Moor has returned with his latest mesmerising offering, ‘Don’t Send For Your Dogs.’ Produced by close friend and frequent collaborator Earl Saga, the melancholic cut sees Moor question the trust of those around him whilst touching on themes of individualism with visceral lyricism. Featuring a hypnotic low-cadence delivery and relaxed flow, ‘Don’t Send For Your Dogs’ is yet another reminder that the future for Moor is incredibly bright.

If you are a fan of the cult eyewear brand Ray-Ban and the sunny weather, this one’s for you. The brand is feeling mega summer ready and has organised a one-off event to celebrate solstice: Ray-Ban Sun-Day. The immersive musical experience will be headlined by British presenter and DJ Tiffany Calver, paying homage to our solar system’s star and the longest day of the year. The show is expected to be bathing in the golden summer glow on the 21st of June, capturing the essence of the celestial event by celebrating with good tunes and even better times. This marks one of the brand’s four full female-identifying headliner events around the world: the first in Tel Aviv, then in Paris and London, ending in New York City. The celebration in the UK’s capital with Calver will be held at The Rooftop of the Standard, and you can now apply for tickets here.
