You can now smell like tennis legend Rafael Nadal… for 42k

The 22-time Grand Slam winner recently released the solid version of his Henry Jacques collaborative scent.

Last year, tennis star Rafael Nadal revealed his unexpected collaboration with luxury perfumer Henry Jacques, producing his very own fragrance collection. The athlete, alongside Jacques, crafted a trio of bespoke scents: one inspired by Nadal’s success in the tennis world, one representative of his private side, and a third created with the help of his wife, Maria Perello.

Now, all three scents are being introduced in a solid perfume form – a travel-friendly alternative to liquid spray. Henry Jacques first launched their solid perfume, titled the “Clic-Clac”, in 2021.

Nadal’s limited edition Clic-Clac sees his profession placed on centre stage, with a curving green stripe alluding to the shape of a tennis ball adorning the case for his solid perfume.

According to the product description, the fragrances combine floral and herbal notes, including coriander, thyme, violet, and lemon, with the woody richness of cedar, sandalwood, and leather.

This isn’t the first time that Nadal has collaborated on a scent, either. In 2008, the star fronted a campaign for Lanvin’s L’Homme Sport and, in 2015, repped Tommy Hilfiger’s TH Bold.

However, having the pleasure of smelling like a 22-time Grand Slam winner won’t come cheap. Limited to 150 editions, Nadal’s solid perfume retails as a set for $41,900 exclusively at Henry Jacques’ Beverly Hills Boutique. The traditional liquid forms of the fragrances were available for $1,170 each.
