All you need to know about Alexander Wang AW18

What went down in NYC.

[T]aking Fashion Week to Times Square on a Saturday is a bold move, but when you’ve got a #squad like Alexander Wang’s you know they’ll follow. Having abandoned the usual seasonal schedule and deciding to debut new collections in June and December, for Wang’s final fashion-calendar synced show he pulled out all the stops. A collection full of iconic power looks, it celebrates women taking their fate and style into their own hands – from the CEO¬†2018 button-downs to a Platinum Card motif. Wang celebrated the inspirational women in his life, explaining “I’m blessed and honoured to work with such incredible, smart, powerful women”.

Alexander Wang described how “it felt timely to do a collection that reflects a different part of my life, everyone knows the partying me, but I actually go to work more than I party”. But that’s not to say the show isn’t as fun-lovin as 2010 Wang, it sure is. Unless you work in The Matrix, you probs couldn’t wear this collection to your Monday morning board room meeting. A series of Bella Hadid-ready looks, it’s a collection the Insta-fans are going to die for, and for once we don’t blame them.

Here’s the 5 things you need to know from the show…
