Chloë Sevigny is the face of Proenza Schouler’s affordable sister label

Cool-girl aesthetic.

[P]roenza Schouler’s NY design duo are masters when it comes to elevating basics – be it a white tee or reviving retro jeans we’d long forgotten. Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are now embarking on a new venture – a more affordable sister line (prices start from $195) PSWL – an extension of their ready-to-wear collection billed as a “collection composed of everyday wardrobe staples.”

When your style DNA is a mash up of 90s-infused outerwear with a major cool-girl-of-NY aesthetic, who are you gonna call? Who better than style icon and ‘Queen of Cool’ Chloë Sevigny. Ricky Saiz, Sevigny’s boyfriend, took pictures of her in high-low looks from grungy denim co-ords to printed tees she’s styled herself, all landing in stores and online November 6th.

“We are excited to finally have an entire range of easy, more casual things to offer alongside the more crafted and fashion-focused pieces that we have explored in the past and will continue to design,” the designers said. “With PSWL we feel that we can now address both ends of the spectrum in a way that feels totally authentic to us and relevant to the way people dress today.”
