[D]ries van Noten is one of the fashion industry’s most revered and elusive designers. A member of the famous ‘Antwerp Six’ who have collectively transformed fashion since the mid-1980s, van Noten is famous for his liberal use of colour, print and pattern and his ability to assimilate techniques and influences from across the globe into coherent, fashion-forward designs.

A new documentary from filmmaker Reiner Holzemer (William Eggleston: Photographer) entitled simply Dries offers a comprehensive insight into the designer’s processes and inspirations; a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of the work of a creator who has retained an aura of mystique throughout his career.
