[T]he queen of zines, Chloe Sheppard, has brought us an exclusive sneak peek into her brand new creation. Featuring never seen before photographs of Dylan Sprouse, and Chloe’s best friend and muse Sylvie, the product is an emotive, powerful and captivating zine. Entitled Remember Death is Far Away and Life is Sweet, named after one of her and Sylvie’s favourite tracks, ‘Witches Song’ by Marianne Faithfull, Chloe explained “it’s a bit cliche, but for me, it’s a reminder to just stop thinking so heavily about everything all the time and what is meant to be will be”.
The zine will be available at Publish Cardiff this weekend, an event set up by Tori West to celebrate creatives outside London. Editor of Bristol-based Bricks Magazine, creator of Disaster Zine and a Welsh native, West has invited various press and artists from around the UK to join in celebration of alternate creative individuals and an option to meet and network with other likeminded people – get involved here.
If you can’t make it to Cardiff this weekend, the zines will be available to purchase on Chloe’s website here, keep up to date with Chloe’s work on her Instagram here.
