Exploring the world’s alternative landscapes through photography

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

[T]he world grants us some of the most captivating photographs in existence through its natural scenery, sometimes not in the places you’d expect. From sky high apartment blocks set against the midnight sky to saturated desert with nothing to see for miles, sometimes the magnificience is in the simplicity. Disrupting our stereotypes of what we consider to be iconic landmarks and what we consider to be eye-sores, these photographers show you that beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. Deconstructing our idea of landscape photography was a significant theme at this year’s Photo London, and so we’ve picked some our favourite alternate scapes below.
