[F]ashion’s love affair with look-at-me logos has been steadily on the rise since the 1980s. One of the early adopters of this type of branding fetishism? Fendi, obvs. Now, the iconic FF logo steals the spotlight in a new capsule collection as the unconventional archival squared version – dating back to 1974 – launching as an exclusive worldwide preview from April 13th for one month on Net-a-Porter.
“Designed by Karl Lagerfeld in 1965, the logo combines FENDI’s luxury authority with an irreverent attitude,” Fendi shared in a statement. “Establishing the Maison’s logo as a contemporary yet sophisticated icon.”
The eye-popping graphic features heavily on every item, from streetwear inspired silhouettes such as parkas to hoodies and the signature Rockoko sneakers, accessories including the Kan I, Peekaboo and the Runaway bag. Time to give your spring wardrobe a stamp of approval? Save this date…
The FF capsule collection, which includes 36 pieces will launch at NET-A-PORTER as an exclusive worldwide preview from 13th April for one month before being available in selected FENDI stores and on Fendi.com from May 14th until the end of the year.
