[L]ast night, London College of Fashion, University of Arts London presented it’s class of 2017 graduate show at London’s famous Old Spitalfields market. Departing from conventional shows, the LCF graduate collections were divided into six acts and presented as a series of moments. Head of LCF, Professor Frances Corner said “At London College of Fashion, UAL we know that fashion shapes lives and has the power to change the way we perceive the world. In an era of radical change, both socially and politically, fashion has never been so relevant. We are dedicated to providing world class borderless education, ensuring that the UK remains at the forefront of the creative industries as well as investing and nurturing creative talent to ensure we safeguard the fashion industry, a vital component of the UK economy, for future generations.”
We saw a focus on architectural form, aliens, cartoons, pastoral/countryside vibes and experimental deconstructionism. Check out some of our favourite looks from backstage below.
