Matt Henry’s latest photoseries features a 1960s murder mystery, a tiki bar and environmental activism

That's so Netflix.

[A]n all-girl 1960s activist group is looking to seduce chemical company executives in a tiki bar before brutally murdering them in the name of environmental justice. The latest project from artist Matt Henry is like Tarantino made a Netflix series.

Reviving the B-movie aesthetic of 60s exploitation films that tapped in to left-wing political trends at the time and overlayed them with loose plots and hyper-stylised but low budget set design, Henry delivers spooky surrealism that combines themes of violence, environmentalism and film history into a 17-image narrative.
