[A]s a romantic deeply in love with a passion for the female form, it seems fitting that French artist Jean André captures curves, sensuality and sexuality through his illustrations that live on Instagram.
Drawing women’s bodies as they are “the most intriguing landscapes” and serve as inspiration for different areas of his life, Jean’s drawings are approached through the female gaze, and seek to appeal to women first and foremost. “I chose charm and sensual female figures because it provide me inspiration for the rest of my life,” he explains.
Following his exposure on Kitsuné’s music channel for their project Kitsuné Hot Stream, where the Paris-based label combines new musical discoveries with the work of graphic designers and illustrators and makes the combined projects available on YouTube, Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music, we caught up with the illustrator to learn about his experience, where his creative process begins, and what’s next in store for him.
