Pelin Isildak Creates Elegance Through the Essence of Tailoring

A timeless approach to the codes of attire.

[P]elin Isildak is a London-based designer originally from Istanbul. After gaining her BFA in Textile Arts, she won the first prize at the young fashion designer contest ITKIB and gained experience working at the luxury retail company Vakko as a womenswear designer, and had a placement with Bora Aksu where she designed the leggings for his SS13 show at London Fashion Week.

Later, she worked as a design assistant for Hakaan for several shows at Paris Fashion Week before she moved to London for her MA Womenswear Course at the London College Of Fashion and got selected to show her FW16 collection during London Fashion Week as part of the LCF MA Womenswear press show. She is currently the studio manager at Bora Aksu while freelancing and building up her own brand.

Her vision is to value the essence of tailoring, by taking a timeless approach to re-identifying the codes of attire while seeking elegance.
