After drawing all my designs in my sketchbook, I had to find a studio that would develop then in to prototypes. The studio had to be in London so that I could keep a close eye and visit regularly. After choosing a studio, we worked together on 3D mock ups of all the metal fittings I had envisioned and they helped me source materials. Together we took a trip to Premiere Vision in Paris, which is where I discovered the leather and suede I wanted to work with.
The next step was to find a suitable factory, close enough to the UK so that I could visit often. I ended up finding one in Uberique, Spain, which I am very happy with.
The shapes, colors, symmetry and strong design of the Iranian palaces and mosques are reflected through the metal fittings I have created.
