[E]ver wondered what really goes on behind the scenes at awards shows? Are there really non-stop tantrums and dramas? Do celebrities ever really let their hair down and get wild? Greg Williams is the man who knows. Switching up the trenches of war photography, for the glitz and glam of Hollywood, Greg is the photographer capturing intimate reportage moments from inside the showbiz world.
From a giggling Meryl Streep in the front row, to a sassy ménage-a-trois with Salma Hayek, Greg’s candid images offer a backstage view on the A-list that is far away from the glare of the paparazzi. There’s a warmth, a humour and a DGAF attitude there that we seldom get to see. Now, he’s collecting some of his favourite moments together in a coffee table magazine. GWP Issue 2 will feature iconic images of everyone from Chloe Sevigny, Johnny Depp and Gigi Hadid, to Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, all shot in Greg’s inimitable style.
We caught up with him to talk Instagram and what it’s really like to go behind the glamour.
