For issue nine of Hunger we turned to one of the voice’s defining a new generation of teens – Zendaya. In association with Vivienne Westwood Rankin shot four limited edition covers of the 19-year-old superstar, who opened up about the issues facing teenagers today, and why adults should pay a little more attention to the next generation. Elsewhere in the magazine we spoke to Anne-Marie Duff, Leon Bridges, Craig Roberts and BOOTS, cozied up at home with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and met Alex Mullins, Phoebe English and Faustine Steinmetz, the designers setting a new agenda in London’s fashion scene. Fashion was of course front and centre – Rankin shot a 30 page collections story, Nadia Lee Cohen reimagined John Waters’ Divine while Chanel muse Charlotte Free played in our Fun House. Our art section was curated by feminist trailblazer Linder while in documentary we featured Marilyn Minter, Harold Evans and Nicholas Winding Refn.
