Are Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet finally boo’d up? A complete relationship timeline

Since January of this year, rumours of actor Timothée Chalamet and makeup mogul Kylie Jenner’s supposed relationship have been spiralling as they’ve been spotted around Los Angeles. It seems to have culminated over the weekend as they were spotted all boo’d up at the LA leg of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, which also fell on Queen B’s birthday. Are they finally hinting that they’ve gone official after  months of rumours? Read on for the full breakdown.

September 4th 2023 – Crazy in love?

Jenner and Chalamet were seen at Beyonce’s LA Renaissance World Tour. The pair can be seen gazing into each other’s eyes and laughing, whilst big sister Kendall mills around them both. This is their first public sighting together after rumours began circling back in April.

August 2nd 2023 – Breakup rumours circulating

Back in August, a source had exclusively told Life & Style that the pair had split, with the insider stating “she’s [Jenner] has been telling people that things between them naturally fizzled out because they’re both busy and travelling” but also goes on to claim how there are “whispers that Kylie got dumped”.

The source goes on to add how “Kylie is playing it casual, but her friends know this must sting” as her rumoured relationship with Chalamet has been the first since the split with her on and off boyfriend and father of her two children, Travis Scott, back in January.

However, TMZ dispelled these rumours with multiple sources telling the publication that “everything is cool between the two, they’re still an item”. Though, as TMZ goes on to state, the pair were still remaining secretive about their relationship.

June 1st 2023 – Summer loving

Jenner and Chalamet were photographed for the first time outside Chalamet’s house in photos published by Daily Mail. Sources told Daily Mail, that the pair had been spending a lot of time together with Jenner being at Chalamet’s gaff “for upwards of six days a week”.

May 2023 – Travis pipes up

Sources had told Entertainment Tonight how Kylie’s ex, Scott, wasn’t “thrilled about Kylie moving on, but they are still cordial and focused on co-parenting” their children Stormi, 5, and Aire, 1. 

This followed similar reports that Chalamet and Jenner had been seeing each other casually, “but were still trying to keep it lowkey”. The source goes on to state how “Timothée loves that Kylie is such a hands-on mom and a boss”  alluding to how Jenner was prioritising her children and career over her romantic endeavours.

April 2023 – Rumours begin to unravel 

Dating rumours had begun when Daily Mail had snapped photos of Jenner in her black Range Rover arriving at Chalamet’s multi-million mansion.

Just days after her Range Rover rolled up Chalamet’s driveway in Beverly Hills, the pair had a secret date night at a Tito’s Tacos stand in Santa Monica. Surrounded by the privacy of the heavily tinted windows of her Range Rover, and her security team, the Daily Mail reports how the pair enjoyed their tacos in the backseats of the SUV.

A source for Entertainment Tonight stated how the relationship was “fun and exciting” for Jenner, following the turbulence of her on and off relationship with Travis Scott. By this point, neither star had confirmed anything, and it was rumoured they’d make a public appearance at the Coachella Music Festival, however these rumours never materialised, and fans were left still waiting for answers.

January 2023 – Kylie’s split from Travis Scott

Outlets had reported that rapper Travis Scott and Jenner had split following a five year, on-and-off again relationship. The couple who share two children, Stormi, 5, and Aire, 1, decided to split though they remain close for the sake of the children.

Weeks later, Instagram gossip account, @deuxmoi had shared a video of recently single Kylie Jenner chatting away with actor Timothée Chalamet. The video had been shot at the Jean Paul Gautier fashion show during Paris Couture Week, where the two had first met and seemingly hit it off. 

It was also said that the pair had attended Vanity Fair’s 2023 Oscars after-party in March, though they weren’t seen or photographed together.
