After an infamous and albeit brief fling with Taylor Swift earlier this year, it seems as though The 1975 frontman Matty Healy has found a new romantic avenue to pursue. And that comes in the form of musician and model, Gabbriette Bechtel, as the pair were spotted passionately kissing and walking hand-in-hand in New York City whilst out shopping.
The musician and model Gabbriette has shot to fame in recent years appearing as a model for Rihanna’s Fenty lingerie line and was formerly a musician in the band Nasty Cherry, which was the subject of the 2019 Netflix documentary series I’m With the Band, also featuring Charli XCX who mentored and signed the band to her label, Vroom Vroom Records, before their supposed split in 2021.
The model is well known with the fashion girlies and has accumulated an impressive 316.3k TikTok followers and 55k Instagram followers, where she has also began posting food content, making cooking look effortless in leather trousers and razor thin eyebrows. Aside from Fenty, she has also modeled for Heaven by Marc Jacobs, Diesel, Balenciaga, Isabel Marant, to name a few.
Little is known about this blossoming romance, as it’s been said Matty Healy was holidaying in Hawaii with ex-girlfriend Meredith Mickelson back in July with fans speculating they had rekindled the relationship. Back in May, Healy was also in a highly publicised and brief relationship with Taylor Swift, following her split with longterm boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
