WTF is going on with Grimes and Elon Musk?

Our alternative vampy princess Grimes has taken tech mogul Elon Musk to court over the rights of their children.

After their relationship debut at the 2018 Met Gala, we were all slightly obsessed – or mostly perplexed, by the odd pairing that was the gothic Canadian singer Grimes and Tesla CEO Elon Musk. However, the whirlwind romance ended back last year after four years together.

According to reports, the Oblivion singer has taken Musk to court concerning parental rights of their three children they share together, aptly named X Æ A-Xii, Exa and Techno. The news was obtained by Page Six, who reported Grimes filed “a petition to establish parental relationship” in a Californian court. The filing comes weeks after Grimes took to Twitter (which Musk recently took over, renaming the platform X), in a since-deleted tweet, pleading with Musk to allow her to see their youngest son, Techno, nicknamed Tau.

Unbeknownst to Grimes, Musk shares twins with Shivon Zilis, who has closely been working professionally with Musk for some years now. The existence of said twins, which had been kept from the Canadian singer throughout their on-and-off relationship was revealed by journalist and Musk’s biographer, Walter Isaacson, who shared a snap of the pair on Twitter. Upon learning the news, an outraged Grimes took to Twitter to share her thoughts and plead with Musk. Grimes shared on Twitter:“Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer. I have never even been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart.”

For Musk it seems “having children is saving the world,” as he tweeted back last month. As of present, Musk has 11 children with three different women, sharing six with first wife Justine Wilson, three with Grimes and the twins with Shivon Zilis.
