Who. What. Where? No. 59

Welcome to HUNGER’s Who. What. Where? Your one-stop shop for all the latest and greatest upcoming events and releases. Whether you’re looking for your next injection of culture or just something to freshen up your wardrobe, you’ll only find the best of it here.

Kicking off this week’s WWW is menswear label John Lawrence Sullivan, who launched their suave AW24 look book for their “STACK” collection earlier this week. The range itself is heavily inspired by the architecture and furniture of German architect Ludwig Mikes van der Rohe, alongside Donald Judd’s STACKS sculpture, creating an unlikely marriage of fashion and furniture. The collection features designs such as double-layered bomber jackets, collared jackets, hoodies, and shirts with double collars and ties, highlighting the idea of “stacking” that is essential to the garments. “The tranquil, melancholy and robust look of sensational historical furniture is reborn in wearable form,” designer Arashi Yangawa explains in the collection notes. Diverting back to the fashion world, Aries, the London-based streetwear label, has revealed that it will be launching No Problemo as its own independent label. The new No Problemo brand, which will run in tandem alongside Aries, will offer contemporary uniform looks across denim, workwear, shirting, knits, and accessories, all realised in recognisable Aries fits and a genderless aesthetic. Aries cemented itself as a streetwear staple last year in part thanks to a strong collaborative output (including releases with the likes of Crocs, fellow British label Clarks, and a recently announced Reebok trainer) helping to grow the brand to a point where it has a permanent Soho outpost and is now launching its second label. No Problemo is available to shop now via the brand’s new website.
