Beyoncé’s adidas x IVY PARK is no more

There were allegedly “major creative differences” between the two parties.

Five years after its launch in 2018, Beyoncé and adidas have agreed to terminate their partnership, which saw the creation of the highly successful line, IVY PARK.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, there were allegedly “major creative differences” between the two parties, which led to the dissolution of the line. Per the publication, Beyoncé doesn’t necessarily want to stop producing IVY PARK and instead looks to gain greater creative control of the label.

This comes after The Wall Street Journal shared documents showing that revenue from adidas x IVY Park fell by half in 2022. It also revealed that the ‘Break My Soul’ singer’s contract with the sports giant was due to end after 2023, meaning they parted ways earlier than expected.

The range’s latest collection ‘PARK TRAIL’ debuted in February earlier this year, after it was first seen at the singer’s private concert in Dubai, which marked the pop star’s first live performance in four years.

This marks the second partnership of IVY PARK, which was first conceived in 2016 as a venture with Sir Philip Green’s TOPSHOP. Beyoncé then gained full ownership in 2018.
